60-day rollover deadline calculator
The 60-day clock runs from receipt, and only some routes start it at all. This works out which rules your route engages, dates the deadline, and shows what has to be replaced if an employer plan withheld before paying you.

The three rules this tool applies, and the sentences they are quoted from, are set out in direct vs indirect rollover: which rules actually apply. What the destination account then costs is in the fee calculator.
What this calculates, and what governs
It adds 60 calendar days to the date you enter, applies the 20% mandatory withholding
where an employer plan pays an eligible rollover distribution to the participant, and
names the relief routes the Internal Revenue Service describes where the date has passed.
It is general information produced by arithmetic on what you typed. The plan's or the
custodian's own written statement of the date it treats as the date of receipt governs,
and so does the Internal Revenue Service's own page. Nothing you type is sent anywhere:
the inputs stay in this page and in the part of the address after the #.
