How this site makes money

Today it does not. This site is not in any affiliate program, so no link on it earns a fee; provider links carry rel="nofollow" only. If a program is approved, the paid links will carry rel="sponsored nofollow", a one-sentence notice under the title of each page that carries them, and this page will name the program on the day the labels change. A referral fee, if one ever exists, would be paid by the provider and would not change what you pay, and it would not affect any ordering: every list here is sorted by a computed number, ascending, and nothing else.

Every figure is a record of what a published source said on the date shown; prices, rates and terms change without notice, so confirm with the provider before you sign anything. No provider has paid, or can pay, to appear here or to be ordered above another; the method page gives the sort key and the provider list shows who is covered; the guide sets out what sits outside every published figure.
