How this site is funded
No link here currently earns us anything. This page explains how paid links would be marked, the conflict of interest that would exist if it did, and the rules we hold ourselves to either way.
How this site makes money
Today it does not. This site is not in any affiliate program, so no link on it earns a fee; links to company websites carry rel="nofollow noopener" only. If a program is approved, the paid links will carry rel="sponsored", a one-sentence notice under the title of each page that carries them, and this page will name the program on the day the labels change. A referral fee, if one ever exists, would be paid by the provider and would not change what you pay, and it would not affect what the pages say: no page ranks or scores providers, and every figure carries the official source it came from and the date it was checked.
Every figure is a record of what an official source said on the date shown; rates, fees and eligibility change without notice, so confirm with the provider or the authority before you sign anything. The guide sets out what sits outside every published figure.
Terms of use
Everything here is general information, not advice. Before You Sign is not a financial, legal, tax or credit service, and it is not a regulated adviser, lender, broker or agent for any provider named here. Every figure is a record of what a published source said on the date shown; rates, fees, terms and eligibility change without notice, so confirm every figure with the provider before you sign anything. Decisions made on the basis of this site are your own, and Before You Sign is not liable for the result, as far as the law allows. If a figure here is wrong, say so through the contact form and it will be corrected.
