The short version: the cost tool sends nothing anywhere, anything you save stays in your own browser, and we do not ask you for anything.

What is collected. Nothing, unless you use the contact form. The cost tool runs entirely in your browser: what you enter is not sent to this site. "Save this offer" writes the label you type and the figures the tool worked out to your browser's local storage only (up to four offers); this site cannot read it, and "Clear all saved" or clearing your browser's site data removes it. A link you copy from the tool carries the figures in the part of the address after the #, which stays in your browser history and is readable by anyone you send the link to.

Contact form. The name, email address and message you enter go to Formspree, a third-party form processor, which forwards them to the publisher by email. They are used only to answer you and are deleted once the exchange is complete.

Hosting and analytics. The site is served by Cloudflare, which processes request data, including IP addresses, to deliver pages and protect the service, and which adds a cookie-less Web Analytics beacon that counts page loads without identifying you. The pages themselves contain no tracking code. This site does not track you across other sites and does not respond to Do Not Track signals, because there is nothing to switch off.

Cookies. This site sets no cookies. Following a link to a provider takes you to its site, which may set its own cookies under its own privacy policy.

Your rights. To ask what is held about you, or to have it deleted, use the contact form. Unless you have written in, nothing about you is held. Whether any provider link earns this site a fee is on the disclosure page, together with the terms of use.

What changed on this page

7 September 2026 Your data — The cost tool can now keep up to four offers so it can put them side by side, and can produce a link that carries the figures you typed. Saved offers are written to your own browser on the device you are using; they are not sent anywhere and we never see them. A shared link carries the numbers in the part of the URL a browser does not send to a server. The pages that used to say nothing you type is stored now say what is kept and where, and the privacy page sets out three ways to delete it.
